The Tower of the Americas is San Antonio's iconic 750-foot observation tower in HemisFair Park, built for the 1968 World's Fair. Families can ride the elevator to the Flags Over Texas Observation Deck for 360° views of the city, then catch the Skies Over Texas 4D theater ride and the Angry Birds 4D Experience, both included with admission. The revolving Chart House Restaurant at the top offers fine dining with panoramic views. A must-do for visitors and a fun outing for locals, especially at sunset.
