Mom's Guide SA is a community guide to family and kids events and places in San Antonio. Local moms share what's going on around town and help keep each listing up to date, so you can spend less time searching and more time out with your kids.
Over time, we plan to let more moms post and manage their own listings. For now, you can send us events and fixes, and our team checks each one before it goes on the site.
What you'll find here
You'll find kid-friendly places like parks, museums, libraries and splash pads, a calendar of family events, kids camps and our best-of lists. Each listing has the basics parents ask about, like hours, ages, prices and where to go.
How we check listings
Most events come straight from official sources. We collect them automatically from the sites of the places that run them, like the public library, museums, theaters and the zoo. We check those sites often. When an event changes there, we update it here, and when it's gone from the source, we take it off.
We add some events and places by hand, using the organizer's or venue's own site.
When someone outside our team sends a new event or a fix, it goes into a review queue. Nothing goes live until someone on our team approves it.
Owners and staff can claim their place's page. Once we confirm the claim, they can send edits and add events from their dashboard. We review those changes too before they show up on the site.
How you can help
- Submit an event you know about. Tell us the date, the place and a link, and we'll check it.
- Suggest a fix when hours, prices or other details look out of date.
- Claim your place if you own or work at a place we list.
