Animal World & Snake Farm Zoo in New Braunfels is a quirky, hands-on zoo that's been a Texas roadside attraction since 1967. Kids love the interactive animal encounters. You can feed lemurs, hold snakes, and pet alligators. The zoo houses over 500 animals including exotic reptiles, big cats, primates, and birds. It's a good stop on the way to or from New Braunfels, and way more fun than the name suggests. Great for curious kids of all ages.
