About this event
Once a year, the old Voelcker dairy farm inside Phil Hardberger Park opens up for Dairy Days. On Saturday, Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. to noon, families can visit a petting zoo, try wildlife and nature activities, and watch history and farming demos at the homestead. There is also live music, storytelling and crafts, plus tours of the Butterfly Learning Center and the Children's Vegetable Garden. A plant giveaway runs while supplies last. It is free, all ages are welcome and you don't need to register. Park at the Voelcker Homestead Trailhead on Voelcker Lane. Parking is first come, first served, so carpool or arrive early. The Phil Hardberger Park Conservancy hosts it with San Antonio Parks and Recreation.
