About this camp
Get ready to step into the spotlight! This exciting summer camp invites third and fourth graders to experience the magic of reader’s theater as they explore a variety of fun and lively plays. Students will take on different character roles, practice expressive reading, and learn how voice, pacing, and characterization can transform a script into a performance. Campers will also discover the basics of stage blocking, experiment with simple props, and collaborate with their fellow actors to bring each scene to life. Whether they’re narrating, acting, or cheering on their peers, students will build confidence, strengthen reading fluency, and unleash their creativity—all while having a blast on our mini “stage”!
